Peck Family Update

Published On October 2, 2025

Dear Church Family,

Eleven years ago, God blessed us with an incredible opportunity when we were invited to become a part of this amazing church family. Getting to be one of your pastors has been an honor, a joy, and frankly, a blast! Over the past several months, God has shown us what’s next for our family. At the end of this school semester, we will be moving to Denver, where I will serve as Teaching Pastor at Cherry Creek Presbyterian Church.

We are very excited about our new congregation and this adventure as a family. There is just one drawback… the bittersweet part of all of this is that it means leaving so many dear friends we deeply love. HP Pres, you have loved us so well! When we arrived in Dallas, Ginny was in the middle of a painful health crisis and could barely walk. You cared for us and bound up our hearts as the doctors did their best. When we started our family through a long adoption process, you adopted our children into your hearts. When we went through an even longer journey of medical interventions for sweet Vivian, who was born so small but is now thriving just like Robbie, you were with us every step of the way: baby-sitting, cooking meals, and praying fervently. When we lost a dear friend, you all rallied even as we all grieved together, and we witnessed the very best of the Christian church in action as you cared for the Dunagan family so beautifully.

Through it all, your faithful, loving care and encouragement have been a gift. Pastors talk, and let me tell you, it is rare how well you love and care for your pastors and their families here at this church. Please keep it up.

Please keep praying for us. We are so grateful for you all and to the Lord for bringing us to HP Pres. Thank you, brothers and sisters for sharing your lives with us. We are excited about our next chapter, but also, we will leave a piece of our hearts here with you in Dallas. Our family will be here until the end of school semester. My official last day will be at the end of October. We’ll be back to visit of course, but we’ll will miss you terribly in the meantime. And do come see us the next time you’re heading to Colorado.

And this is my prayer: that your love may abound more and more in knowledge and depth of insight, so that you may be able to discern what is best and may be pure and blameless for the day of Christ,  filled with the fruit of righteousness that comes through Jesus Christ—to the glory and praise of God. (Phil. 1:9-11)

Yours In Christ,

Josh, Ginny, Robbie and Vivian
