This is a remarkable moment in the life of HP Pres. We are living through a joyful and vision-focused season that marks a significant chapter in our hundred-year story. Thanks to the faithfulness of those before us, and friends like you, we stand on a strong foundation. God has enabled this church to endure storms, share the Gospel, and reach people in ways our founding members could never have imagined.
HP Pres has been blessed with remarkable growth, and with the arrival of our new Senior Pastor, Rev. Dr. Thomas Daniel, we feel this chapter will be even more fruitful. We are preparing for a new season. After much prayer and planning, our elders and pastoral leaders have affirmed a vision to Renew–renewing our spaces to better welcome and serve families, and renewing our reach by committing to church planting, missions, and leadership development.
Assessments from our Session and feasibility team indicate the need for a $20 million investment to fulfill our mission here on University Blvd, and far beyond the walls of our campus. This effort is more than buildings or budgets, but vision – ensuring HP Pres remains a vibrant, gospel-centered presence for generations. It’s about making sure that we are good stewards of the generosity of previous generations. Most importantly, it allows us to be ready for whatever God has in store.

Enhanced Security
Stewardship goes beyond just maintaining our buildings – it means caring for everyone who enters our doors. Enhancing safety and security will foster a worry-free environment for all who gather here, allowing members, guests, and families with kids to experience the peace of Christ without worry.
Campus Care & Restoration
In recent years, we’ve seen how incidents like broken pipes, power outages, or failed air conditioners can quickly disrupt ministry. Many hidden parts of our campus are aging—well past their expected lifespan.
Revitalized Worship Spaces for All Ages
During Renew, the Sanctuary will receive much-needed care, including repairs to broken stained glass windows. Renew will also provide for technology and audiovisual upgrades in both our primary and next-generation worship spaces across our campus.
Renewing Our Reach
Planting New Churches
Over the past 10 years, we’ve learned what is necessary to successfully plant churches: prayer, time, and investment. Launching a church plant that can develop into a healthy and self-sufficient church costs $1 million over five years. Renew will bolster this important strategic work into the future, equipping our Church Planting Committee to impact generations to come, in Dallas and throughout our network of churches.
