Texas Hill Country Mission Trip (Middle School)

Current 7th–8th graders are invited to join HP Pres Middle School School for a mission trip to the Texas Hill Country on May 31–June 3, 2026 as we partner with Texans on Mission to serve families impacted by the floods of July 2025.

Texans on Mission mobilizes Christian volunteers to impact the world by sharing God’s love and training the next generation to do likewise. They seek to develop and send out an unending stream of volunteers to deliver help, hope and healing in the name of Christ to hurting people in Texas, across the United States and around the world. Our 7th-8th grade students from HP Pres will come alongside Hill Country families to provide encouragement and assist with light construction projects to repair and restore homes, while also giving students intentional times of worship, journaling, prayer, and fellowship together.

The total cost per person is $600 to cover transportation, food, and lodging, which includes a non-refundable $150 deposit.

FAQs

As your student prayerfully considers serving this summer, please note a few important details about our application process:

          Step #1: Students (not parents) must first apply to one of our mission trips, telling us more about their faith and involvement at HP Pres.

          Step #2: Our staff will review applications and reach out with next steps within a few weeks, which may include a follow-up interview. Preference will be given first to students with a strong track record in Highland Students, then to applicants based on the order of submission. Note: we have limited space for each trip, so not all applicants are guaranteed a spot. We reserve the right to deny any students who do not align with the vision and goals of the trip.

          Step #3: If accepted, you will then be sent a link to register your student and pay the non-refundable registration fee. Once the registration fee is paid, your spot is secured! The remaining balance of the trip will be due by April 1, 2026.
