Count Me In – 5th & 6th

5th & 6th Opportunities. Use your gifts to serve others at HP Pres. This is recognizing what God is doing at HP Pres and saying, “I want to be a part of that, and I want to make a difference.” It is stepping out boldly and choosing to serve our church and its congregation so that people can find and follow Jesus Christ.

5th & 6th Opportunities

Sunday: General

Help 5th & 6th graders feel welcomed on Sundays. This role will help with general crowd control and relational connection, helping kids focus, playing games with kids, talking with and getting to know kids, and building relational connections.

Spiritual Gifts:
– Encouragement

– Shepherding
Expectations:
– Most Sundays, around 4 hours a month
– Be friendly in your interactions with parents, children, and other volunteers
– Learn names and help kids feel included and loved
– Intention and energy with the kids

Wednesday: General

Help 5th & 6th graders feel welcome on Wednesday Nights! This role will help with general crowd control, playing games with kids in the gym, building relational connections through conversation, and leading a small group based on pre-written questions each week.

Spiritual Gifts:

– Shepherding

Expectations:
– Every Wednesday if possible. 1.5 hours each week.
– Helping kids grow in their faith by engaging with them during and after the lesson in small group time
– Be friendly in your interactions with parents, children, and other volunteers
– Intention and energy with the kids
