Transform Dallas 2025

Published On June 29, 2025

As Christ-followers, “we love because he first loved us” (1 John 4:19). That love we experience through Jesus transforms our hearts, leading us to transform our relationships, work, and city.

Every year, we are honored to participate in Transform Dallas in partnership with Dallas Leadership Foundation (DLF). This city-wide workday is a tangible way for us to share God’s love with our neighbors. Last Saturday, June 21, volunteers from HP Pres packed hygiene kits for local prisons, cleaned up neighborhood parks, distributed food boxes to Dallas families, and contributed to the uplifting of our city through serving others.

President and CEO of DLF, Wil McCall, shares of Transform Dallas, “We have seen this kind of engagement inspires individuals to continue their service beyond the workday. It also allows diverse groups to see and experience their commonality and become more energized in their service.”

Acting as a catalyst in our communities, Wil shares that the city-wide workday “opens doors for families in need while empowering community members to serve their neighbors in meaningful ways. Over time, this initiative does more than meet immediate needs—it cultivates local leadership by helping residents discover their voice and realize their capacity to lead through service.”

Transform Dallas is a huge project, benefitting hundreds of Dallas residents, but is only one of many ways that they bring our city together for the overall good of our communities. We can help support their mission through our prayers, finances, and participation in their monthly outreach opportunities. Twice each month, HP Pres volunteers join DLF at their food-packing events to help provide at least 550 boxes of shelf-stable foods to local families in need. We would love for you to join us!
