Bearing Each Other's Burdens

Bearing Each Other’s Burdens

Published On November 17, 2023

The beauty of life with Christ means that we are surrounded by fellow believers that can lift us when we’re low, celebrate with us when we succeed, and challenge us when we feel stagnant. “Just as a body, though one, has many parts, but all its many parts form one body, so it is with Christ” (1 Corinthians 12:12). We all have different needs in community, but here are some ways for you to connect with other Christ-followers.

Discipleship Conversations – In our busy lives, we rarely pause to think about our spiritual lives, let alone talk about them with someone else. Discipleship conversations create the space for us to listen and encourage one another. hppres.org/discipleship-conversations

Sunday Classes – On Sunday mornings we have communities for every age and stage of life. In each class you will find rich fellowship and teaching of God’s Word. We grow better together, so come join a class on any given Sunday. hppres.org/classes

Grief Groups – Grief Groups are forming now, let us know if you are interested in joining one of these small groups at hppres.org/grief-resources. Joining a Grief Group will give you the chance to be led and surrounded by people who understand loss.

The best thing you can do to grow in your relationship with God is to grow in your relationship with his people. “As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another.” (Psalm 27:17).
