Fish and Loaves is a great way to honor the people you love by giving gifts that make a difference in the lives of others. Last year, our members sent over 6,000 gift cards which raised over $62,000 for those in need.

Shop online here to choose items to be donated to those in need. We will provide you with Christmas cards to send to family and friends to let them know a special gift has been given in their honor.

Below are the options for placing an order (orders must be received by Tuesday, Dec. 20):

  • Mail your order form and a check to the church (Highland Park Presbyterian Church, Attn: Fish & Loaves, 3821 University Blvd, Dallas, TX 75205).

For order pick-up, please choose one of the following at online checkout or on your paper order form:

  • Pick up your order at the front desk in the Hunt Center
  • Receive your order via US mail
  • Home delivery to your doorstep if you live within a 10-mile radius of HP Pres. Please allow three business days for order processing.

Austin Street Center

For over 30 years, Austin Street Center has specialized in caring for the most vulnerable homeless men and women in Dallas. Beyond meeting basic needs, Austin Street is committed to individualized care for each person who comes for help, beginning with serving a hot dinner to an average of 400 people per night.  Austin Street Center needs help now more than ever to provide meals for the vulnerable homeless of our city.

Compassion Fund

Your gift to the Compassion Fund enables HP Pres to meet immediate, crucial needs of people going through challenging circumstances within the church and throughout our city. Critical needs met include rent, utilities, medical bills and food. The HP Pres Compassion Fund is focused on serving those in urgent need with relief in meeting their financial obligations and providing hope for a better future.

Cuba Church Partners

HP Pres has been in a sister church partnership with two Cuban congregations since 1999 and has grown to partner with a third church and numerous new church plants. We’ve taken more than 100 church members to Cuba. These volunteers have helped to plant more than 25 house churches and in doing so, have supported 25 missionaries, aided in the building of three churches, and have provided assistance to a local seminary. Our goal in partnership is to come alongside the Cuban church and help them with their vision in reaching Cuba for Christ by meeting the spiritual and material needs of the Cuban church as God leads and provides.

Dallas Foster Closet

HP Pres ministers to kids in the foster system in the Dallas area. We also respond to CPS caseworkers’ requests for specific needs for the children and families. Over 450 children have been served this year with clothing, toys, furniture, rental assistance, tablets, baby equipment, and much more.

Dallas Leadership Foundation

HP Pres began partnering with Dallas Leadership Foundation during the first weeks of the Covid pandemic to establish a food distribution program to address food insecurities in Dallas. The program has proven to be very effective in meeting needs across the city during a time in which the need to address food insecurity issues are increasing. Currently over 550 boxes are delivered to families twice a month. One box provides a family of four with food for a week.

Iranian Bible Society in Diaspora

The completed translation of the Persian Bible was in 2007. Since that time, IBSD has the vision and strategy for every Iranian and Farsi speaker around the globe to have access to the Bible in their language.

Mission Emanuel

Mission Emanuel is a cross-cultural, relational, Christian ministry that strives to promote discipleship through short-term mission trips focused on community transformation. They seek to reach entire communities in the Dominican Republic by being the hands and feet of Jesus Christ. For almost 30 years they have worked in the poor neighborhoods of Cielo and Nazaret, providing education, housing, health care, and clean water.

Believers from a Muslim background in Iran can experience tremendous suffering for their faith in Christ. Underground house fellowships are regularly raided, and believers are often harassed, thrown out of their jobs and expelled from universities. Leaders of house fellowships are frequently arrested, imprisoned and forced to leave the country.
