With three children under 5 years old, Margaret and her husband, Mike, value the resources and support they’ve found for their family at HP Pres. Since 2021, Margaret has attended Treasure Keepers, finding that the Bible study for mothers encourages her to daily depend on Jesus. She shares, “Every day He gives me the strength and patience to parent these little babies. I can’t do it without Him.”
From attending via zoom during the pandemic to now helping lead and organize the table group leaders, Margaret still finds value in the approach Treasure Keepers takes to parenting of blending science and faith. She shares, “Five years in and I’m still dying to go in every month. This is not something that you do one year and then you graduate. It’s a really important ministry that we need regularly. I’m still just as thirsty to attend as when I first started.”
At the breakout tables, mothers get to lean on, learn from, and lift up one another. Margaret reflects of her experience, “Everyone who’s there is trying to be a better mother so we’re in it together.” It can feel like you don’t know what you’re doing as a parent but here’s the good news – you’re not alone. Treasure Keepers is a place for mothers of all stages to share their joys and challenges of parenting and personhood each month.
