No Man Walks Alone
Growing up attending Catholic school, Nate, Lucas, and Isaac had a general understanding of the Bible, but it wasn’t until recent years that their faith took on new life. After moving to Dallas, each brother was on their own journey to get established in their new city and find community.
Nate was the first of his brothers to begin attending HP Pres and soon got connected to the weekly men’s Bible study, Ascent. He shares how he was impressed that “everyone is on the mission to grow in their faith here and you aren’t expected to go on that journey by yourself.” His experience inspired him to invite his brothers to join him at the weekly Bible study.
Isaac shares, “I was experiencing a strong desire to move back to my faith at that time and was looking for a sense of community that could help me with that.” The weekly Bible study surrounded him with men from all different walks of life who are committed to becoming the leaders that God calls them to be in their homes, workplaces, and communities.
Lucas is the most recent brother to begin attending the Bible study and shares that Ascent has been meaningful to him because “It offers a powerful blend of spiritual challenge, genuine support, and Christ-centered encouragement, creating a space for honest vulnerability and accountability as we grow in our respective faith journeys.”
Like the three brothers, each man in Ascent is on their own journey but none of them walk alone. Whether your goal is to learn more about the Bible, be challenged in your faith, or find a place where you can share your burdens, there is a community for you here.
