For Everything There is a Season
We know that grief from any source can leave you feeling lost, angry, confused, or any number of other emotions. We all process grief at different paces, but there is help available.
Grief Groups – Grief Groups are forming now, let us know if you are interested in joining one of these small groups at hppres.org/grief-resources. Joining a Grief Group will give you the chance to be led and surrounded by people who understand loss.
Care and Counseling – Sign up for pastoral or Licensed Professional counseling at hppres.org/care. Both forms of counseling are available for when you need someone to listen as you grieve and process.
Grief Resources – You can find a full list of additional resources on grief at hppres.org/griefresources. This list includes books, podcasts, Scripture, and spiritual practices that will help you and your family navigate seasons of grief.
The best thing you can do after a loss is to take care of yourself and make time to process your own grief. “For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven… a time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance.” (Ecclesiastes 3: 1 & 4) Know that you are not alone and can turn to God and his people when you feel lost.
