Marriage Opportunities. Use your gifts to serve others at HP Pres. This is recognizing what God is doing at HP Pres and saying, “I want to be a part of that, and I want to make a difference.” It is stepping out boldly and choosing to serve our church and its congregation so that people can find and follow Jesus Christ.

Re-Engage

HP Pres offers the 11-week Re-Engage Marriage enrichment class twice per year. Couples with both strong marriages, as well as struggling ones, attend this class to strengthen their bonds. You can serve as a small group facilitator or greeter for married couples of all ages.

Spiritual Gifts:
– Shepherding
– Hospitality
– Discernment

Expectations:
– Serve weekly as a group leader or bi-weekly as a greeter
– Joyful heart, positive attitude, and sympathetic ear
– Good listening skills as well as a commitment to helping couples re-center their marriages with Christ

Marriage Prep

Marriage Prep is a six-week class designed to help couples build a firm foundation for marriage. Each week has a lesson and then couples break into small groups. Small group leaders help facilitate discussion through a variety of topics.

– Discernment
– Shepherding
– Mercy

Expectations:
– Serve weekly as a group leader
– Christ-like love for marriage and compassionate spirit
– Great listener who seeks to include everyone
