Early Childhood Opportunities. Use your gifts to serve others at HP Pres. This is recognizing what God is doing at HP Pres and saying, “I want to be a part of that, and I want to make a difference.” It is stepping out boldly and choosing to serve our church and its congregation so that people can find and follow Jesus Christ.

Early Childhood

Sunday Class Rotational Teacher

Help teach a 3s, 4s, or Kindergarten Sunday class. All curriculum and materials are provided so that you can focus on sharing Christ’s love with the next generation along with the lead teachers serving the room.

Spiritual gifts:
– Shepherding
– Faith
– Encouragement

Expectations
– Ability to get up and down to be at children’s levels
– Joyfully engage with children as well as their parents
– Once a month during either the 9:30 or 11 am worship hour

Nursery Class Rotational Teacher

Join the teaching team to serve in either an infant, wobbler/toddler or 2s classroom. All materials are provided so that you can focus on sharing Christ’s love with the next generation.

Spiritual gifts:

– Encouragement

Expectations:
– Ability to get up and down to be at children’s levels, lift and hold up to 30 pounds, and care for multiple children
– Joyfully engage with children as well as their parents
– Once a month during the 9:30 or 11 am worship hour

Sunday Class Lead Teacher

Be the main teacher in a 3s, 4s, or Kindergarten Sunday class on a weekly basis. All curriculum and materials are provided so that you can focus on sharing Christ’s love with the next generation alongside the rotational teachers serving within the room.

– Weekly during either the 9:30 or 11 am worship hour
– Ability to get up and down to be at children’s levels

Welcome and help families get checked into Sunday Classes.
