What Is Confirmation?

One of the most meaningful milestones in your student’s journey of faith is Confirmation, a year-long community group for 7th graders. The goal of Confirmation is to give students the opportunity to confirm their faith in Jesus, walk in biblical community with other believers, and learn what it means to participate in the life of the Church.

Each week, Confirmation students to attend Wednesday Nights with the 7th 8th grade ministry. Once a month, we will gather on Sunday evenings for Confirmation-specific teaching and discussion. In addition, we will come together once in the fall for a spiritually formative weekend retreat.

Our hope and prayer is that, through this journey, your student will grow in their ability to articulate their faith, experience what it means to be seen, known, and loved in community, and, most importantly, come to know and trust Jesus Christ as their Savior.
