Nehemiah: Rebuilding & Renewal

In our sermon series on Nehemiah we are traveling all the way back to the Old Testament to learn how the Israelites’ return to the Promised Land resonates with our world today. The Jerusalem God’s people returned to was in ruins, much like the faith of the Israelites at that time, but God remained faithful to them, even in exile. The story of Nehemiah is one of spiritual renewal in spite of great peril and devastation. It reminds us that even when things seem to be crumbling around us, God will sustain us.
