Thoroughly Equipped

“All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.” 2 Timothy 3: 16-17

Amy got connected to HP Pres when her children were invited to attend with their friends. Soon after, Amy felt she was being called to go deeper with the church and signed up for the new member course. Her family has grown through the kids, students, and adult ministries over the years and Amy was looking to connect with other women who wanted to grow in their faith.

She was drawn to the Renewed in the Word Bible study because she wanted a study that would fit with her work schedule and with her daughter’s schedule since she was in high school at the time. The women in this Bible study are in all walks of life, each with their own spiritual background. Amy joined the study because it served a practical purpose in her life, and that blossomed into something she looks forward to each week. “Our study begins at 7:30 in the morning, and I am motivated to wake up early to discuss the Bible with this group of women.”
