Highlander Concert: All Saints

  • When November 1
  • Time 7:00 pm
  • Location Sanctuary

The annual commemoration of All Saints’ Day serves as the Christian remembrance of loved ones who are no longer with us while reinforcing faith in eternal life.

Remembering the saints who have died to join the eternal kingdom of God is a hallowed annual practice of the Christian faith at All Saints’ Day, November 1. One of today’s most beloved church music composers, John Rutter, has composed a Requiem that recognizes the pain of loss, the hope of eternal life, the peace of God’s presence in pain, and the joy of celebrating everlasting life. As a part of this concert experience, our church will recognize and remember all those who have died in the past year as well as offer a time of prayer for those who grieve.

Performed by: The Highland Park Presbyterian Church Chancel Choir and Orchestra, conducted by George Gregory Hobbs
