Best. Lemonade Stand. Ever. Supports DLF

On Saturday–Sunday, May 13–14, elementary students in HP Pres’ Highland Kids ministry put on their sales hats, used their leadership skills, and worked the Best. Lemonade Stand. Ever… all in support of our ministry partner, Dallas Leadership Foundation (DLF).

Even with partly cloudy skies and intermittent showers, elementary students showed that “nothing is impossible when leaders come together.” Their efforts yielded the sales of more than 600 cups of lemonade, totaling nearly $2,000 to benefit DLF!

Throughout the lemonade stand, kids talked with community members, joggers, neighbors, and others passing by about DLF, its various initiatives to glorify Christ, and why the organization matters. Because, DLF is so much more than simply “an organization.” Their work is changing people’s lives for the better and HP Pres is grateful to be able to help.
