Until All Are Free

Published On October 7, 2024

The world we live in can be a dark place and our first instinct can often be to look away. But as Christ-followers, we carry the light (Matthew 5:14). Jesus gives new life, hope, and restoration to all people. Because of him, we can look at the darkest of circumstances head-on and not be afraid.

Long-time partner, International Justice Mission, is an international organization focused on human rights, law, and law enforcement. Founded in 1997 by lawyer, Gary Haugen, 94% of IJM staff are nationals of the countries they work in. While the bulk of IJM’s work focuses on combatting sex trafficking, they also work on cases to address child sexual assault, cybersex trafficking, forced labor slavery, property grabbing, police abuse of power, and addressing the citizenship rights of minorities. IJM uses four methods to build safety and give protection from violence and slavery.

  • Strengthen Justice Systems – Partner with police, judges and community leaders to respond to violence. Then work together to make safe communities that last.
  • Rescue and Restore Victims – Partner with local authorities to rescue victims of violence and restore survivors until they can thrive in freedom.
  • Bring Criminals to Justice – Advocate for our clients in court until the people who trafficked and abused them can no longer exploit, enslave or abuse another person again.
  • Scale Demand for Protection – Equip champions everywhere to advocate for a safer, more just world for everyone.

IJM is a light in some of the darkest places of our world. As Christfollowers, we can join them in their mission to bring both physical and spiritual freedom to those who desperately need it. Donate directly to IJM at ijm.org/give.
