Lauren’s Story

Although Lauren grew up attending a Catholic Church, it wasn’t until college that she began to fully understand the gospel. Through a broken relationship, the Lord used the challenges of her circumstances to draw her close to him. When she began to seek out the meaning of true forgiveness, she learned that there is no way to earn a way to heaven. Jesus loves us and saves us through a relationship with him, not by anything we can do on our own.

In 2018, Lauren and her family joined HP Pres. They quickly began serving, and Lauren was ordained as an elder in the fall of 2022. She continues to grow in her relationship with God as he teaches her to release her thoughts, worries, ad anxieties to him.

Lauren’s passion is encouraging others to grow close to God as she has. If you have the desire to know the Lord and grow in your faith, Lauren’s advice is that if you make time for the Lord, he will not let you down. Spend time with him every day and listen to his voice.
