January is when our Elders spend time together on our Annual Session Retreat. If you are unfamiliar, our church is led by a group of men and women, called our Elders (hppres.org/elders), who are elected by you, our congregation, every year. This retreat is a time for us to seek God’s will for our church, and this year we have a pretty clear focus: engaging with our denomination, ECO, to explore the first steps in the search process for a Senior Pastor. Please be in prayer for this retreat, for our Elders, for future Elders involved with the search, for future candidates, and for all of our leadership to be blessed by supernatural wisdom and discernment from God. We’re committed to this being a thorough, transparent, and spirit-led process, and we’ll share more after the retreat, so stay tuned.

The memorial service for Bryan Dunagan is available on YouTube.

Many of you have asked how we are helping the Dunagan family. To do this, we’ve created two funds – the Dunagan Family Fund and the Dunagan Memorial Fund. You can give now on the links below.

The Dunagan Family Fund is intended to help with daily living expenses for Ali and the children and is not tax-deductible.

Donations to the Dunagan Memorial Fund will assist HP Pres in honoring Bryan’s legacy through support of Vision 100 goals that Bryan spearheaded, including spiritual discipleship, evangelism, prayer initiatives, church planting, and the development of young leaders. Donations to this fund are tax-deductible.
