Created for Connection Marriage Workshop 2024

Please join us for a special two-day marriage workshop, Created for Connection, with Licensed  Professional Counselors Brent Theis, M.A., L.P.C.-S. and Carolyn Sidereas, M.S., L.P.C.-S., of Lakepointe Church in Rockwall, TX.

Over the course of the workshop, Brent and Carolyn will walk couples through six pivotal conversations to help partners better understand and connect with one another. Their expertise in this area is vast and tenured, as they have been working for decades to show couples how our relational God created us for connection.

Brent received his Master of Arts in Professional Counseling from Amberton University and has been practicing as an LPC for 20 years. He is committed to helping adults and marriages grow and thrive, addressing any issue that hinders the process. His areas of specialty include premarital, marital, trauma anxiety/depression, affair recovery, sexual abuse, sexual integrity issues, and spiritual and personal growth. In addition, Brent is trained in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and Brainspotting.

Carolyn received her B.A. at the University of Texas and her master’s degree in Counseling from Texas A & M. She has a passion for helping people heal and thrive in life and relationships. Like Brent, she specializes in premarital and marital, affair recovery, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), sexual abuse, PTSD & EMDR, and Brainspotting.

Join us and gain insight into how you can better connect with your spouse. Emotional security is foundational, and we need to know that our loved ones will be there for us no matter what.

This workshop begins Friday, Feb. 23 from 3-6:30 pm and continues on Saturday, Feb. 24, from 9 am-4 pm. During your time, expect group learning and smaller breakout sessions to walk through conversations privately with your spouse.

Registration for HP Pres congregants is $120/couple and includes multiple meals.
